Within very easy reach one can sample the delights of walking in the old towns of Mijas, with its horse drawn carriages. Benalmadena with it marina, bars & resturants.
There are many more white washed towns and villages well worth a visit.
Or spend a day in the 'Capital' of this area MALAGA with its museums, Churches and quaint back streets, squares and waterfront prominade. This too has a fabulas night life, with music and activities going well into the night, especially in August when it holds the annual Fiesta, the largest in Eurpoe, and well worth a visit.
Marbella & Puerto Banus. Orange square in the old part of Marbella, is the place to go either for that cup of coffee, lunch, or special evening. If shopping is your 'forte', then a visit to 'La Canada Shopping Centre' is a must, or visit the many designer shops throughout the town. The nightlife in these towns is second to non and boasts as having the 'hot spot' of Europe, for partying.
The Beaches along the COSTA del SOL from Malaga to Estepona are all within easy reach of Villa Pasa Tiempo from 30 - 40 mins away. Which means that *9 out of 10 of the top beaches* are there for you ( * Stated AA guide to Costa del Sol)
In Winter one can enjoy the thrills of the 'Piste' of the Sierra Navarda which is *70 Km from the coast (* As stated by AA guide to Costa Del Sol) which means its about 2 hours drive from Pasa Tiempo. So you can easily be on the snow at 9 and back home after a full day on the slops in time for a party on the coast at night!
Sierra del las Nieves ( Mountains of the snows) which is only a 20 min drive, hosts a unique scenic entirety famous for its deep narrow mountains passes which natural richness has been recognized by inhabitance for more than 6000 years. There are nine villages within this area and many nature reserves. This natural nature can be enjoyed through walking routes, bikes or horse riding, from many of the villages. Excellent samples of cork trees, holm oaks, native pine groves and mountain flora and fauna is ubundant. You may see Spanish ibex, coypu, and many birds within this area. The villages are:- El Burgo, Casarabonela, Yunquera, Alozaina, Tolox, Guaro, Istan, Monda, and Ojen. Some of these are visable from the villa by day and night.
Valley of Guadalhorce This area enjoys a microclimate with no extreme temperatures which makes this area an ideal place to carryout cultural, gastronomic, and sport tourist activities. Its scenic diversity where olive and almond trees are profuse, to the rolling wheat feilds of the northern sector, makes this area a 'must to see' experience, when in Southern Spain. The villages that make up this region , most are visable from the Villa, are :- Alora, Almogia, Pizarra, Cartama, Coin, Alhaurin el Grande, Alhaurin de la Torre and Valle de Abdalajis.
The list of places to visit and see is endless, because this area has so many, one cannot, with the limited space on the web, do them all justice. Surfice to say there IS something for every one, what ever their age or liking or holiday needs, you WILL find it here in Andalucia and the provence of Malaga.
